On December 11, 2006, the family of Tyler Frenzel held the first annual “Sunflowers in December” to honor Tyler's time with us and ensure his positive and generous spirit passes on to others who may use it.  Friends and family of Tyler's collected gifts, gift cards, and funds and donated all of the goods to Camp Emma Lou. 

“Sunflowers in December” raised over $22,000 in gift cards and monetary donations alone.  Many more thousands of dollars were donated in gift items for the camp to use. 

We would like to send a very special “THANK YOU” to Tyler, the Frenzel family, and all the donors and patrons of the “2006 Sunflowers in December."
